The Online Learning Academy (OLA) offers a full-day, fully live online learning experience for students in grades 7–8 who thrive in a digital classroom. Supported by a dedicated principal and a team of highly qualified teachers, including special education and language specialists, OLA provides individualized instruction that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and the development of essential 21st-century skills.
Each student receives a Chromebook to support learning, and families are introduced to the program through a comprehensive orientation. The school emphasizes digital citizenship and student safety, using monitoring tools such as Go Guardian and Gaggle to create a secure and responsible online learning environment. OLA also brings students and families together through quarterly in-person events, fostering a sense of community even in a virtual setting.
By combining live, interactive instruction with personalized support and a focus on digital literacy, the Online Learning Academy prepares students to succeed academically while building the skills, confidence, and adaptability needed to thrive in a technology-driven world.
